About the Author

Luz Quinones grew up in the violence and abandonment of New York’s barrio the Bronx. She had been in trouble with her family, law and her God till she found her way. A young mother at age 14, Luz struggled through trials which would later prove to be a road hard to travel. Luz worked in the field of substance abuse counseling. She also was an advocate for HIV treatment/ education. She attended pastoral counseling courses with Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn. Luz is the mother of 3, grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 1. Luz has written two books of inspirational poetry.
