STUMPY'S TALE

About the Book

Ranny Autry was born in rural Alabama. At sixteen years of age he was accepted into Livingston University, graduating in 1977. After graduation he spent several years in the Florida Keys before returning to Alabama and applying to the Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship. The next few years were spent enjoying the world. Several trips around the world took him back to South Florida, this time as an Airboat Tour Guide in the Florida Everglades. His first book, Stumpy’s Tale, was first published in 1987. Since his return to Alabama, he has had five poems published, and is currently working on a two novel project.
