About the Book

“One Little Christmas Tree” introduces us to JoJo, the smallest Christmas tree in the forest. JoJo is quite sad, feeling insignificant and unimportant. He believes that his small size and stature is the reason why he is never chosen as a family holiday tree. JoJo embarks on a journey to become bigger and better and thus, important and loved. Along the way JoJo meets Erica, a little angel who helps him understand that it is not outward appearances that makes us important, but what’s in our hearts and how we treat others that is most valuable.

About the Author

Author Jo DeMarco is a former executive and theatrical producer. She is a dedicated single mother and grandmother who delights in reading to her grandson Cameron often. A native of Chicago, Ms. DeMarco believes that one of the most effective ways to teach, is through stories which contain valuable, moral lessons that encourage us to be the best we can be and help us triumph over times of despair. Children as well as adults will embrace the warmth of the uplifting message “One Little Christmas Tree” has to tell all year round.
