The Red Fox Story

About the Book
My name is “Fox”.
I have a tale to tell.
This is a true story about my friendship
with a human female, JJ.
I live in a state park near the ocean.
Her yard is my meadow.
I spend many hours visiting
while she works in her rose garden
and takes pictures of me.
My story is unusual because foxes and humans keep
their distance from one another.
Though we respect each other’s space, in her
case,
I chose to come near, but I don’t allow her
to pet me!
For I am a fox you see,
living wild and free in the park by the sea.
