About the Book

Alex is a boy who does not like to obey rules. When the King of Otevaht' Nodi (Idon’thaveto) rescues Alex from a life with rules, Alex is excited, but unprepared for the consequences. Through personal experience, he discovers important reasons for rules and finally chooses to return to life with them
