About the Book

The Big Blue Kite is a story about a young boy’s dream of being the best at flying kites. But his joy of flying kites turns to sadness when in haste to complete for the top honor in kite valley he forgets one of the most important rules about flying a kite. After losing his kite, Timmy’s love for kites is momentarily shattered. But his sadness is short lived and he is once again flying his kite with a new found understanding for patience and contentment.

About the Author

I grew up in Saginaw Michigan, I received my bachelor of arts degree from Goshen College, BSE at Millersville University, Certificate in Herbology and Nutrition from the British Institute of Homeopathy England. I teach high school math at an alternative school in Lancaster PA. I am currently working on a Masters in Population at Risk and a Certificate for Conflict Transformation. My hobbies include walking, running, biking, swimming, scuba diving, coaching football, and track. I also like to write, paint and do stained glass.
