Sandra Dorsey Merritt is a retired special education teacher who earned her B.S. in Education degree from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. Sandra has done post graduate work at several local universities, including The University of Akron. In addition to writing poetry, as well as prose, Sandra enjoys singing in her church choir. She has two children and 4 grandchildren. Sandra resides in the city of Canton, Ohio with her husband, Jimmy. Sandra wants to encourage her readers to have faith in God, keep looking up to Him for help, and never give up!!!
