About the Book

Leaving behind her a tumultuous past that she cannot remember, Alexandria Wright finally has her life back on track. She has moved to Los Angeles, California for a new beginning and has now earned her master’s degree in Criminal Justice. She has finally been able to put the pieces of her life back together and is now satisfied with the direction of where her life is heading.

Then everything changes, when Alex receives a call from her older sister, Zola, after nearly ten years of estrangement, asking her to come back home to Nelson, Mississippi for the summer.

Alex soon finds herself on a journey of self-discovery, hidden truths, and forgotten love, as well as being caught up in a web of lies, deceit and danger.

About the Author

Kat Fox has been writing since the age of twelve and has written over one-hundred poems, short stories and song lyrics. She lives in upstate New York, where she enjoys writing full-time, reading, and spending time with her family.
