Highlights newts, who are frequently overlook due to their habits and disguise. But the world they live in is alive and colorful, scenes changing constantly and plenty of neighbors. As you pause on your walks, take another moment to discover the world at your feet and if you look closely you may find many new and interesting things happening all around you. Some things you’ll want a magnifying glass to see-even bugs can be fuzzy, shiny iridescent…and after a moment, they can entertain you with their special antics. I marvel at the ability creatures have to adjust adapt and survive, and communicate with each other even if they are vastly different. I hope to introduce you to their world and cause you to want to know them more. The creatures are waiting

About the Author

At a very early age, her parents instilled in her the admiration of nature and the joy of discovery. Her mom took her and her brother on outings to find bugs and creatures hiding under leaves in the thickets and farm lands close to their hone…and when able, her dad would accompany them for longer trips…his specialty was training over logs, rocks, old boards and things to find whatever has made their home in that place. From that time on, continuing in the tradition, she loves to look for and discover those things that most people would consider ordinary, or, just pass by. She hopes to re-instill in this generation, the love of nature, and to pause a little longer, to discover all there is. Where there’s a place, there will be awe and wonder…and when there’s a pause….recognition of the creators majesty.
