About the Author

Karen has made a lifelong endeavor of learning, from graduate studies in Mayan archaeology to helping pioneer the Internet, she has focused on the interconnectedness of things, the twining of past legacies and future possibilities. Deeply committed to the Earth and the energies that bind us together, Karen is an avid gardener living with her family on a small lake in Northwestern New Jersey. Karen owns a small independent used bookshop, Botanical Bay Bookstore. This is her first novel and more explorations of alternative transitions delving into the great changes taking place around us all are in the works.
