About the Book

Attic Full of Poems is a collection of poems written to be enjoyed by lovers of poetry. This collection was written in memory of the author's mother who was bedridden for many years, who didn't have long to live, and who introduced the author, her daughter, to poetry when she was growing up as a child. Every time the author reads a poem, she is said to remember her mother fondly.

About the Author

Birdie D. Stringfellow is a female who has been writing poetry all of her life. She has been taking care of her mother since the year 2000. She writes in her spare time. She grew up in Chamblee, Georgia, USA. Her family and she moved to Athens, Georgia when she was in the eighth grade due to a job offer her father received at the University of Georgia. She attended Cedar Shoals High School and went to college at the University of Georgia. She received an ABJ in Journalism and majored in advertising. She has numerous hobbies. She weaves baskets, collects coins and stamps, loves music and dancing, exercises regularly and is an avid birdwatcher. She enjoys life to the fullest. She hopes her poetry entertains, touches your heart or inspires you in some way.
