About the Author

Melody A. Krafft sold every painting at her first exhibition. She was five years old. Since then, her work has competed in National Tour Exhibitions, won awards, has been exhibited in the Saint Louis Art Museum, the Missouri State Capital building, Washington D.C. Federal Government building, and in Art Galleries.

She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators and a member of the Reston Arts Center in Northern Virginia. A former community organizer and psychologist, today she focuses on intuitive art and children's illustrations. She lives and works in Virginia.
