About the Author

H.R.H Silver Nnanyereugo Ibenye-Ugbala is a Historian and Researcher, born April 10, 1930 Imo State, Nigeria. He was married February 6, 1951 to Veronica Chinyere (Ugo-Eze) with four daughters and four sons. He was the Area Administrator and Comptroller of Customs and Excise, Apapa, Lagos Area from 1975-1979. He received his Diploma in Public Administration and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh in 1975, Diploma in Indirect Tax control and Excise Administration from Dans Les Services Extérieurs De Le Direction Générale Des Impôts Paris, France in 1967, and Diploma in Customs and Excise Administration from Her Majesty’s Customs Training College Southend-on-Sea, England in 1967. He is currently the Traditional Ruler, Eze-Ugo III, of Okporo, and the Patron of Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers (Nna Ndi Eze), Imo State, Nigeria.
