About the Book
“More birds!” thinks Jax. But when he got to the birdbath they were all gone. He is a birdwatcher, not a bird-catcher! Smidjun is thinking about his tummy, as dogs often do. He is checking the picnic table to see if there might be a hotdog there. Nope. Now he checks to see if there is a mouse hiding in the woodpile. It sort of smells like it. Or maybe there is a mouse under the deck? 23
About the Author
The author is from Arlington, Washington a small town in the northwest part of the state where she lives with her husband, two cats and one dog in a century old farmhouse. She wrote this story in a different format for her four grandchildren, but many children have enjoyed it so she decided to re-do it and publish it for general sale.
