About the Book

Maryann thought she had everything. Great kids, lifelong friends, who she referred to as her “little family”, and a relationship that she had since she was a kid which she thought would last forever. Then one day, while checking her email, all that changed and so did her life… forever. Not even going halfway around the world or meeting anyone else or even marrying anyone else would make the hurt go away. The only bright spot was that “the little family” and her children would always be there no matter what or where she went to escape the whole situation.

About the Author

I was born in the Bronx, NY and lived there almost my whole life. In 1994 my family moved to Westchester, NY which is where we still live. I have a younger brother who is an ordained Rabbi and lives in Israel with his wife and eight children. I attended NYC public schools until I graduated in the 1980’s and attended the College of New Rochelle, where I received a degree in Psychology and Education. I also have a master’s degree in special education from Grand Canyon University online. I have worked for a private school for children with special needs for 23 years. In 1989 I was married and stayed married until my divorce in 2004. Since then, I have found the love of my life again and have been with him since 2003. We are now living together.
