About the Author

The Author Dana Leslie Meade Dana Leslie Meade trained a classical violinist in New York and Boston, and has a degree in psychology from the University of Maine at Orono with a concentration in child psychology. Dana resides in New Hampshire with her two children. The Illustrator Beth Clay Beth Clay, a native to NH, has lived a life surrounded by a wonderful family that has always encouraged her free spirit, played as hard as they work, and laughed as hard as they cry. Through her art she hopes to encourage and inspire all those the world embraces. Her passions include international adventures, the great outdoors and all it has to offer, service learning and improving opportunities for today’s youth, in the classroom as an educator or in the community as a mentor and guide. Beth spends every spare moment in the company of those who bring joy; her nephew and niece the Munchkin and Monster and the friends with a true and shared “joie de vivre”.
