Every child has some kind of struggle or challenge. Whether it’s lying, stealing, teasing others, or cheating on a test, they all need to know that they are loved. Children must be taught about the opportunity to live with others and respect property. Most of all, they must be taught that every day is a new day and a new opportunity to do what is right. They can change their mind about their behavior at any time. The children need to know that they can make good choices even though it can be difficult sometimes. In this story, Aaron must decide whether he will continue stealing and risk making the same mistakes as his father or confess his wrong behavior and change for the better.

About the Author

Tawanna Talbert-Loving is a therapeutic foster parent who has worked with children of all ages on developing coping strategies and positive techniques for dealing with grief and loss. Many of the children who have been in her care have been introduced to the love of God through her teachings about Jesus Christ. It is her passion to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ and teach children around the world that there is hope and salvation through accepting the free gift from God which is in Christ Jesus.
