About the Book
Rita Falsetto is new to the world of writing. She worked in the field of Social Services in numerous states within the US. During the Bosnian war, she worked as a volunteer and lived in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina for 10 years. While there, Rita did extensive traveling in Europe. She also has traveled throughout Guatemala, Spain and served in the Peace Corp in Senegal, West Africa. Rita has always held a deep passion and interest in creating and telling stories because of all the different cultures of people she has met in her many years of travel. She was inspired to write this small book while house sitting in a small rural town in Colorado called Aguilar, (in Spanish meaning eagle). Rita encountered all the animals there, which became the characters for this book. Rita hopes this short story encourages young and old alike to greet strangers as friends and friends as family!
