About the Book

"President Earl Eastwood’s unimpeachable integrity contrasts him with is corruptible political rivals, some on his own Democratic Party. Resisting the easy morality of Washington, the first African- American President employs truth, transparency and street smarts to buttress the authoritative power of his high office. Israel’s provocative attack on Iranian nuclear sites creates a major crisis. Israel asks that America honor its commitment to defend the Jewish state against an Iranian counter-attack. But Eastwood encounters inexplicable resistance from key congressional members who have never turned their backs on Israel. He discovers his rivals’ shameless motives and moves against them. Can a president of high character overpower Washington’s endemic ethical morass that singes the image of America in the minds of its allies, and especially its citizens?"
