About the Book
Generations presents the history of 1966 to the present through the eyes of the poet his mother, and his children. Every poem in the first section comes from the same event experienced at the same time by two people twenty-five years apart, but related in the closest possible way. Walk with the author, his mother, and other characters through their experience of the turbulent '60's through the end of the century. Meet the people the author and his mother served: new immigrants, the poor, the hungry, and live with the author his own blossoming sexuality and identity... Finally, we meet the author, his ex-wife, and his children, in an important section written by a single dad about that experience.
