About the Book
I was born November 23, 1979, I started writing poetry at the age of 13, for me it was a way to express myself. My first published poem was titled “Do You Love Me”, and it was published in a collection created by the National Library of Poetry. “The Masquerade Ball” is actual my second full collection of poems. My first collection was finished while I was still in high school, but it was never published. I have two wonderful little girls, they are the reason why I am here today, this book and every book to follow is for them to show them that you can forefill your dreams and accomplish anything you put your mind to. Currently I am attending Rutgers University, Newark Campus working on my BA in English with hopes to go straight into the Master’s Program for Creative Writing. I am also currently trying to build up my small business mainly dealing with Greeting Cards, but not limited to that.
