About the Book

There was a peaceful village that surrounded a free-flowing spring of water. In this peaceful village, a relative and intrinsic value was assigned to all goods, services, and occupations by a majority vote of the village electorate that remained in place until changed by a majority vote of the village electorate. In this peaceful village, even the simplest of the villagers—who earned their goods and services-exchange power from the least responsible and least difficult occupations within the village—had ample food, dwelling places, and of course, water from the community wellspring to sustain a good yet semi austere life. These were mostly young students and semiretired villagers who were generally recognized as the most happy of all villagers.
