About the Author

Summer Elizabeth Hanson was the second child to parents Charles and Annette Hanson in Santa Barbara, CA. Since then the family has grown to six children; three boys and three girls. The family has lived all over the western United States and now resides in Southern Missouri. Traveling together as a family had always been a great part of Summer's childhood memories. She loves to incorporate sights as well as individuals encountered on her many travels into her art. "Hello and thank you for reading my book! I hope that if ever you are feeling down or need something to reflect upon, you may find comfort in my poetry. I absolutely adore writing poetry, and first got started writing cards to loved ones. As time went on my many friends said I should begin a book and so here it is! In your very hands for all its glory! If you share the same passion of the arts as I do I salute you! Nothing is more beautiful than the works of the heart. No matter how hard life may become, there is always a reason to keep moving on! The limit to your greatness is what you make it!"
