About the Book

This long awaited book actually takes two distinct components and combine them into one comprehensive guide. The dedicated student, who wishes to concretize his or her belief or the inquisitive student, who simply wants to learn more concerning the biblical statutes of Christianity will find this an invaluable study aid. The first part of this book gives a detailed account of the structure of Christianity and its implications. The second part of this book provides step-by-step lessons for delivering its contents in a communicative learning environment. Each lesson is clearly laid out for ease of presentation. Also, there are activities that accompany each lesson for independent study or group interaction. The lessons are sequenced in order to maximize retention of content and understanding of certain historical events. Words and their current definitions are given along with several quotations from famous theologians and authors. Such a structure is guaranteed to enhance the appreciation of learning, while serving as a ministry tool.

About the Author

Clifford Wayne Thompson was born February 5, 1954, in Marysville, CA. Marysville is approximately 45 miles north of Sacramento, the capital of California. I am the seventh child of 19 children of the Thompson family. During my formative years I lived in Oroville, CA. My parents attended Zion Church of God in Christ. My father became the pastor and remained so until his demise on May 5, 2003. I have always been very interested in education and discovering new information. After finishing my k-12 education, I immediately enrolled in UC Davis where I earned my first BA in French and Rhetoric. Later, I earned two teaching credentials, another BA, two MAs, an administrative credential, and two doctorates. Although my secular profession required a great deal of time, I always stayed connected to the church by assuming various tasks. As such, I served as an usher; sang in the choir; was president of YPWW; served as a deacon, the Dean of Education, and ultimately Assistant Pastor. All of my church assignments were stepping stones that provided me the opportunity to inculcate the reality of Christian growth and dedication. In 1999 I was ordained in the Church of God in Christ and in 2000 I became an adjutant in California North Central at the state level.
