About the Author

Barbara Malloy Drew was born in Gastonia, North Carolina. She has a degree in Vocal Music Education and taught vocal music in the public school systems of Yorktown, Virginia and Prince George's County, Maryland. "Songs by Barbara M. Drew" is a compilation of four songs created extemporaneously when the lyrics and melodies continuously penetrated the mind. (See the Foreword) Mrs. Drew is also author of "Ancestry Potpourri", a do-it-yourself book that can feature up to seven generations of information about ancestors and descendants.
