About the Author
Prof. Rajaram Pagadala, the author, was decorated by the President of India as an “Eminent Medical Teacher of India” with “Dr. B.C. Roy Award’. He was Dean of 4 medical schools in India and Nepal and retired as Deputy Director-General of Health Services of India. He served thecommunity with devotion and dedication. A self-made man, he was raised by his young widow mother from the age of 6, went on to earn an MD, PhD and degrees in Cancer Surgery (Vienna), Health Care Management &Economics (USA &Thailand). After a divine experience with Baba, he does daily ‘parayana’ of “Sri Saibaba’s Charters’ and Sayings”. A steadfast Sai Devotee, Rajaram, started spreading Sai messages. He perceived that Baba was not only an Avatar but was a Saint, Social Reformer, Social Scientist and a Social Engineer. The author incorporated his thoughts in this book “Sri Sai Baba’s Charters and Sayings- As I Understand”.
