About the Book

Children; I would like you to imagine that one morning you awake to find the road you need to use is under deep waters. Then you stand looking at the waters wondering how you would be getting across to where you would like to go. Then someone comes along and places some big ‘Stones’ in the water so that you would be able to go across without getting your feet wet or falling in. Well some of the activities around you today are as this deep waters in which you could fall and get hurt. Some of these activities are: Illegal drug use, gang involvement, neglecting your education and ignoring wise council given to you by your parents and people who wish you well. The stories in “Stepping Stones for Kids” are like these big ‘Stones’ placed in deep waters on which you can step to avoid the dangers and help you to reach your goals and potentials.

About the Author

Linnet enjoys working with children. Over the years she has worked with children in different professional settings, which were; Teacher, Day Nursery Manager and Qualified Social Worker. Linnet also fostered young people for over ten years. Linnet is a Christian and uses stories to teach moral values to children and empowering them to reach their full potentials. Over the years Linnet continues to be involved in charity work for children. She is currently offering financial support to children in Africa and the Caribbean towards their education. Linnet has written other story books for children and teenagers.
