About the Book

Grace loves telling stories to children about her childhood experiences. Growing up in a small farm town, Grace took care of many animals. While going to feed the chickens one day, she noticed something a little different. An adorable little bird had made a home in an unlikely place. Since she was curious, she was able to watch the miracle of life unfold for the family of birds.

About the Author

Grace grew up in a little farm town call Higgins, Texas in a house on the edge town with her three brothers and six sisters. Her family raised chickens, a milk cow, and several pigs. Growing up she spent most of her free time outdoors playing in the mulberry trees that grew around her house. She has five children and is blessed with numerous grandchildren. She currently resides in a small town in New Mexico with her husband of 46 years. For many years children have enjoyed listening to her childhood stories, and she hopes yours will enjoy them too.
