About the Author

Emma Shoemaker is a 10 year old poet who just finished fifth grade at Christian Central Academy in Williamsville, New York. She also attends The Chapel at Crosspoint in Getzville, New York. Emma enjoys playing piano and clarinet as well as singing. She had her first poem published in fourth grade. Emma has been inspired to write from her teachers, Mrs. Smyth, Mrs. Lux, and Mrs. Paul.
