About the Author

Diane Manning is an urban contemporary fiction writer. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Hartford, Connecticut, with a touch of southern roots. Ms. Manning grew up watching shows like, Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys and inspirited by Jackie Brown movies. Her favorite reading is by Agatha Christie Mystery Books. As a college student, she was asked to write a short story in her Writing II class. She contemplated for weeks as to what she wanted to write. Finally, sitting at her desk, in the Catskills Mountains, she developed, “The Promise of Eternal Life,” the original was five pages long. While in college, she studied psychology, sociology, human & criminal behavior. She also has a love for sci-fi movies & horror movies. She has a passion for studying serial killers which provides inspiration for her writings….. Diane Manning currently resides in Bronx, New York and works with adolescents as a Substance Abuse Counselor while working on her next novel.
