About the Book

Black Ocean is a collection of poems that has become my vehicle, my tool for expressing what I feel. My pen is also my instrument of my artistic expression. Life’s lesson in love, heartaches, heartbreaks, refl ection of regrets, obsession, regression, forgiveness, believing in oneself, triumph, peace, hope, letting go, moving on and moving forward in the stages of relationships, loss, bitterness, anger, resentment, healing, rebirth and resolution. Black Ocean is a guide of faith that becomes an essential aspect of my journey to areas of fulfi llment and rejoicing the expression of praise in God’s protection, deliverance and mercy that he has shown me. Yes, life and relationships bring heartaches but as long as there is hope, there’s room for growth. In family, friends and faith, I will always fi nd the tools to construct the temples of happiness.
