Lambs and wolves were logical choices when creating this story. We hear the term “a wolf in sheep's clothing” meaning someone is pretending to be nice when they are not. Matthew 7:15 tells us “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” To make children aware that they should ALWAYS talk to someone they trust if they have doubts about someone's actions toward them, is something we need to begin very early in their lives. They don't need to only be wary of strangers, but of people they know as well. If someone behaves badly toward you, talk to a figure of authority who cares.

About the Author
Growing up in a West Virginia coal mining community may sound non-eventful to many, but it was a good life. Running barefoot in a neighborhood where everyone was like family rather than just neighbors has a charm and security that I wish all children could experience. My personal life has had many ups and downs, and along the way I have learned to Trust God for ALL the answers. He never lets anything come that we can't handle with His help... we must always remember- together. He never closes a door in our lives unless He has opened another He wishes us to find. Children have always been special to me. When I was but a child myself, I planned to have as many children as I could think of pretty names for ... then I found that the child makes the name beautiful and I just couldn't have that many children. I love playing games and sharing stories with children. They give us the ideas for the stories and bits of wisdom all their own. It is my hope that children will enjoy and learn from the stories I have created.
