About the Author
Sally Calavetta, known to her ten grandchildren as Nanny, raised three children—Barbara, Lisa, and Robert—while working side by side with her husband of over fifty years, Goldy, and her son, Robert, in their family construction business. They retired to Boca Raton, Florida, where they spend the winter months with friends, playing golf and tennis and enjoying the warm sunny days. During the summer months, they stay in their hometown of Staten Island, New York, where they spend their days with their children and grandchildren. Those days are filled with laughter, family dinners, and love that she carries in her heart when she is not around them. If you ask Sally what her grandchildren mean to her, she will tell you that grandchildren give you a second chance to love your own children over and over again.
