About the Author

Dr. Jerry D. Overton grew up on a small farm in Tennessee where he gained an appreciation for the hardships of life, the beauty of nature, the wonder of love, and the constancy of God’s guidance. He’s been a rancher, United Methodist minister, personal coach, college teacher, and writer. He lives in southwestern Colorado and counts as his greatest blessing the love of his two grown children, Amy and Jason.
