About the Book

The poetry touches on the human condition, as well as common sentiments we have all had at one time or another. You will notice that many of the poems discuss emotions, as well as life experiences.

The short story "wish fulfilled" is about a woman's pursuit of her dreams, and her strange ties with her mother which touches on the paranormal. The second short story "soul mates" discusses friendship, and how it transcends politics and ethnicity. Two childhood friends share a bond that ends quickly.

About the Author

The author of “Thoughts in Words: An Anthology of Poetry,” Nadia Sadi, has just completed her second collection of poetry with two short fiction stories. She is a freelance writer based in Edmonton, Alberta, and has always had a passion for writing poetry, fiction, and tutoring in writing. She has a degree in English from the University of Alberta as well as a diploma in professional writing.
