As women we are faced with day by day trials and tribulations, it is only God’s grace and mercy that gets us through these days and nights with just enough sanity to get us to the next day. I understand that Family, Career, and Social matters can consume so much of our time that we forget to give God the glory for all that he has done and is doing for us. “To My Sisters” addresses how to apply prayer to our problematic situations, and become a better woman in the process… day by day.

About the Author

LaCara S. Gilmore was born and raised in Detroit, MI. She currently resides in Romulus, MI where she is the mother of one, and the oldest of six children. She has attended and graduated from Detroit Public Schools, and has participated in community events that uplifts and encouraged inner city youth. From there she continued her education at Paine College in Augusta, GA, Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI, and Spring Arbor University in Battle Creek and Southfield Michigan where she obtained multiple degrees in Education, Family Studies, and Psychology. LaCara is currently CEO of her own Non- Profit Mentoring Organization and Clinical Substance Abuse Practice.
