About the Book

The poems in this collection are meant to be fun, funky, cynical and satirical with an occasional shot at serious issues. Or, as my wife calls them, “Poetic musings along life's journey.” Hopefully, you will find them enjoyable, scintillating, challenging, and amusing. Most of all, we hope at least some of them bring a smile to your face and put a spring in your step.

About the Author

Lowell Anderson has been writing stories, poems, essays, articles, and songs for as long as he can remember. His CD, “A Toast To Country,” made No. 10 on the Top-50 Airplay Charts in Europe.. He served as an editor for the Division of Parish Services of the Lutheran Church in America in Philadelphia. He holds a Bachelors degree from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona, a Masters degree from the Lutheran School of Theology in Chicago, Illinois, and a Masters degree from Texas A & M in College Station, Texas. Lowell served in the U.S. Navy, as a parish pastor for 20 years, and a teacher for 10 years. Currently, he is active as a photographer and writer. He and his wife own eight photoblogs and the L and L Photography website (http://www.landlfotos.com). Married for 58 years to Lois Anne, [also a photographer], the love of his life, together they have three children, David, Denise, and Cheryl; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
