This book is a collection of poems I've written to make sense of the world I've been made wise to while I'm in the belly of the social whole, and like Jonah, I am now ready to serve my purpose-to activate life and love in people.

About the Author

My name is Darrion Benson. I was born 1991 on the west-side of Chicago, to the most loving person I'll ever know. I am the oldest of four children. I have two brothers, and a sister.

My mother and father always taught us to be ourselves. I learned how to make the best out of every situation; take the positive and leave the negative. They encouraged us to dream so I do and this book is a manifestation of that encouragement.
