One More Bend in the River

About the Book
We must travel on, for to stay in one place is to stagnate. Our river sometimes runs straight for miles, or curves slightly, giving us a perspective and time for reflection, allowing us to see the things ahead more clearly. At other times, there are bends so sharp, doubling back on themselves, completely hiding from us what lies beyond.
About the Author
I am now seventy-three years young, having eight children, nineteen grandchildren with three step-grandchildren, who each has given us twenty great-grandchildren between them. Quite a quiver-full. Throughout my life, I have encountered many bends to traverse, ultimately overcoming every adversity thrown at me. I suppose you could say my story is about overcoming, pushing through the difficulties I have a lot of times created for myself. My husband and I now pastor a church in the town we live in, ministering often to those less fortunate than ourselves. We travel extensively overseas, ministering in churches who also help many who, on their own, would be helpless.
