About the Book

This playful book is artfully written by a mom to her teenage daughter to explain the different types of relationships she will encounter in her lifetime and offer her advice on how to handle them. This book is unique in that the author incorporates the use of various dough recipes as an analogy to those relationships while providing a solid cooking foundation for teenagers. There are many “aha” moments and quotes of inspiration throughout the book that help express her points. This is a must-read for all teenagers!

About the Author

Ellie Delaney lives in Hinesville, Georgia, and is a proud mom of two teenagers and a diligent supporter of the United States military. Married twenty-one years, she stood behind her husband, Rob, who served twenty-two years in the United States Army, including three deployments. She is a strong woman who believes that building lasting relationships is key in strengthening one’s support circle. This has been instrumental for her family, especially in the past year after her husband’s untimely death. She wanted to share her experience and advice with her daughter, Jordan, as she graduated high school this spring and will attend college this fall. Ellie also works full-time as a property manager in Georgia, and she loves to paint, garden, and travel in her spare time.
