About the Author

Paulette Tomasson is a nurse/therapist who has written many articles on emotional health and wellness for Alive Magazine in the past. She was a featured expert in CBC’s passionate eye documentary O.Com. She is an internationally known educator and consultant in the treatment of trauma and specialized addictions. Paulette has been cited and interviewed on many international radio and television programs. She has received the Award of Excellence from the Registered Nurses Association of British Columbia and the Friend of Guatemala Award from OPSA for her work in trauma and addictions. This is Paulette’s first venture into writing for children. She finds it exciting and easy to let her imagination flow freely and help resolve common areas of stress for children and bring joy and magic to their lives. Paulette lives in beautiful British Columbia, Canada, close to the beach and the mountains.
