About the Book

This is a collection short stories for rainy afternoons. It is about a young black girl’s life brought up in the heart of Washington, DC. As you read through the different tiers of her life in the late 1950s through 1990s, your mind will race back to your own childhood and make you laugh and sometimes cry. It is a quick read for your family and friends.

About the Author

Renee is a witness of God the Father Almighty, through Jesus Christ the Lord, and by strength of the Holy Spirit! She is blessed to be the mother of three children and the wife of a true man of God. She is a spiritual mother, friend, teacher, counselor, mentor, and confidante to those who God directs. She is a licensed and an ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a minor in early childhood education. Her passion is in preaching and teaching the Old and New Testament.
