This book is a collection of short stories that are inspired by true events. It is a collection of stories regarding the trials and tribulations of a small business owner. Many people have a dream to own their own business and hopefully make a lot of money. The dreamer wants to be his or her own boss and with the hope that the family can enjoy the finer things in life. Unfortunately, it does not work out always that way. The risks are high but so are the rewards. Mr. Martinez and his son are still waiting for their ship to come in. Is there a slight glimmer of the mast ? Maybe.

About the Author

M.M. Casanova, Jr. is a native of San Antonio, Texas. He was educated in San Antonio private schools and graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas – Rio Grande , and is a Certified Public Accountant. He currently lives in the Rio Grande Valley with his wife Carmen and they have four children, Manuel III, Andrea, Veronica, and Anissa.
