About the Author

When Marisa was a young girl, her mom built within her a love for books that soon turned into a love for writing. Her mom made reading an important highlight in Marisa’s early education. No matter the obstacles in her life. Marisa pushed forward towards excellence. Marisa is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a major in English a creative writing focus and minor in Theatre. Marisa is an advocate for her community and dedicates this work to her two daughters, because her greatest achievements thus far have been her gain of Self Consciousness in knowing who she is, what she is and why she is. With a cunning purpose in this life experience.
