About the Author

After nearly three decades in advertising sales...I started working as a courier for a medical lab. I recently celebrated my 13th complete year as a courier. This is why you will see many elevator stories. It is a bit strange but I never have considered retirement....I am 73... but I have a theory. I have seen people be major league tight with their money and die before they can enjoy it. I have seen people waste all their money and broke all the time.

I kind of split the difference. I have put fun at a premium. As I have aged...I am a little bit more resourceful. I don't like being broke but I don't like sacrificing for something that I can't take with me. I suppose if I die and leave my kids stuff and not cost them...I'm good.

You decide if this is good...I told my kids when they were young that their mother was better for them concerning money. I was about two primary things...Having fun and knowing Christ as my personal savior. We did have fun and we listened to Christian tapes at bedtime.

Back to things that you can't take with you. Nothing man-made will go to Heaven. Not your car, your money or your body. That which is spirit is spirit and that which is flesh is flesh.
