About the Book

In this memoir the author reflects on nearly eighty years of life. Through memories connected to different decades, the author recounts formative personal experiences, including childhood impressions shaped by relationships and revelations, the loss of her father, witnessing hardship and injustice, learning resilience from strong women, and ultimately realizing a lifelong dream by visiting a place she once only imagined. To the author, these deeply personal stories are meaningful and deserve to be shared.
