The humorously sarcastic retort “OK, Boomer” is used by Millennials and Gens X, Y, and Z to dismisses Boomer viewpoints as no longer valid in the increasingly chaotic world that the Boomers left behind. But, what was it like to be a Boomer who enjoyed living in that privileged Boomer era? Boomer Madness is the first-person account of a Boomer who survived all that the raucous 1950s, 60s, 70s, and 80s had to offer: from the Atomic Bomb to the Summer of Love; from the Viet Nam War to Off-Off-Broadway; from the sexual revolution to the computer revolution; and from designer drugs to Cocaine Chic. This story is just as much a Boomer Generation story as it is a story about a Lucky Boomer who got to live it.

About the Author

Dattoli was born in New York City just as the Boomer Generation was being sired all across the world. He has lived in various places: New York City, Washington, D.C., California, Florida, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. In 1967 he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Arts which actually served him well during his various professional careers. He settled in New York City and lived there during the explosive years from 1968 to 1990.
