About the Author

Worked for David Gantt, formerly State Assemblyman in Rochester NY, and assisted the NAACP, chapter in Rochester NY, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Novell Goff, the Pastor of Barber AME church. Worked as a case worker, viewed over 175 cases, interviewed 75 physical cases daily, made court appearances, disposed of a 6 yrs. murder case having the case revoked to be overturned from 25 yrs. to life to 1 day, resulting in the man and his family giving their lives to Christ, working on a rape case which resulted in the case being dismissed. In the Rochester area dealt with enormous cases of discrimination throughout the city.

After returning to active duty, I transferred to Anderson Chapel AME church, while under the leadership of Pastor Walter MacDonald, then served under Rev Dr. William Campbell, designed and developed a new measure for the Child Support system, for over 2 yrs. to better help the community.

Education
Dr. Gavin completed two years of college in six months to finish his Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and received the degree from Excelsior College. Dr. Gavin has a diverse Major in Sociology & psychology & Religion. Dr. Gavin went on to complete seminary at Liberty Theological College, then a doctorate in Pastoral Community Counseling EDD, from Argosy University, Dr. Gavin graduated from Trinity Law School in (Criminal Law) and Harvard Business law a certificate in Negotiation and Leadership, he is committed to change, and willing to serve the people and provide a better way. He was now Worshiping at Liberty Christian Center in Killeen TX. Under the leadership of Rev. Rodney W. Gilchrist.
