About the Book
No matter what he does, Ratch can´t find a girl who will go out with him. He´s tried to meet girls at college, in clubs, on the internet, and even out on the street, all to no avail. No one ever likes him, and he has no idea what he´s doing wrong.
Ratch´s current obsession is Trish, a punky girl who works at a local used music store. He begins going to the store every day in hopes of talking to her. After several unsuccessful attempts, he finally manages to make a date with her. The outgoing, free spirited Trish causes Ratch to question the way hes living his life, which comparatively seems so boring. Reflective, funny, and sometimes shocking, Confessions of a Stalker is an irreverent, satirical look at modern life.
