About the Book

How do you describe a lifetime of events? For David Vercoe writing poetry has become a key ingredient in expressing feelings and thoughts that might otherwise remain unspoken. God has given him a gift of being able to express in poetry, concepts that cannot be easily expressed in normal conversation. The poems are grouped topically on themes like nature, personal stuff, journey and grief. This collection of modern poems or psalms will bring encouragement and hope to people from all walks of life and faith.

About the Author

David Vercoe was born in Dunedin, and now lives in Leeston New Zealand. He has a natural bent for technical things and has worked in Radio, Television, Audio Visual, and Computing. He has also studied theology, managed a Youth Hostel, and his faith in Jesus Christ is has always been his anchor. In recent years he has worked as Systems Engineer at Lincoln University. David has been writing poetry for many years, and only recently came to the realisation that a gift like poetry writing needs to be shared. As a keen photographer with a passion for visual imagery, his dream is to combine his Poetry and Photography in a way that will bring inspiration and encouragement to all.
